Practice Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Robert Weiner is a 1980 alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He joined County Animal Hospital in 1981.
He was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practice specializing in Canine and Feline Medicine and Surgery in 1988 and has re-certified every 10 years since then.
In 2018, Dr. Weiner became a Certified Fear Free® Professional. He was honored to serve as the 2019 President of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. Dr. Weiner is a member of the Westchester/Rockland Veterinary Medical Association (WRVMA).
Dr. Weiner and his wife Ronna are parents to Marc, Eric (a veterinarian himself), Lara (a doctor of pharmacy) and Scott. They are also the proud grandparents of Ava and Remi (daughters of Eric and his wife, Sarahbeth), and their herd of dogs, cats and a bird or two; and Nicole Iris (daughter of Lara and her husband, Nick), and their two dogs.
When he isn’t working or at a veterinary meeting, Dr. Weiner loves to bicycle, ski, play piano (though o one really wants to hear him play!), listen to jazz and ride his motorcycle.
