Practice Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Robert Weiner is a 1980 alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. He joined County Animal Hospital in 1981.
He was certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practice specializing in Canine and Feline Medicine and Surgery in 1988 and was most recently re-certified in 2016.
In 2018, Dr. Weiner became a Certified Fear Free® Professional. He was honored to serve as the 2019 President of the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. Dr. Weiner is a member of the Westchester/Rockland Veterinary Medical Association (WRVMA).
Dr. Weiner and his wife Ronna are parents to Marc, Eric (a veterinarian himself), Lara (a doctor of pharmacy) and Scott. They are also the proud grandparents of Ava (daughter of Eric and his wife Sarahbeth). They share their home with a herd of dogs and cats and a bird or two.
When he isn’t working or at a veterinary meeting Dr. Weiner loves to bicycle, ski, listen to jazz and ride his motorcycle.
