Licensed Veterinary Technician
Alex has been working in the veterinary world since 2012. She earned a B.S. in Animal Science, with an Equine concentration from SUNY Cobelskill. She received her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Westchester Community College (WCC) 2023, passed her Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT). A few months after graduation, Alex joined the WCC faculty as an adjunct professor for the Veterinary Technology program.
In 2023, Alex not only became an LVT she also became a Certified Fear Free® Professional. Alex also maintains her RECOVER BLS/ALS CPR certification. She is currently working toward her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialist) in Clinical Practice (canine and feline).
She enjoys getting to spend time outdoors and traveling to National Parks (her goal is to travel to all of the USA national and state parks!). Alex loves her dogs: Java (an Australian Labradoodle), Little Vlad (a Shih Tzu), Pumpernickel (a husky mix); and her horse, Freer.
