CAH History
Dr. Robert J. Weiner, V.M.D., A.B.V.P.
Dr. Robert Weiner graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. He is a second-generation veterinarian who became a Rockland County transplant from Wilmington, Delaware in 1981 when he joined County Animal Hospital. Dr. Weiner became a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in 1988 with certification in canine and feline medicine and surgery. He is a past president of the Westchester Rockland Veterinary Medical Association and is currently that organization's representative to the NYS Veterinary Medical Society Executive Board. His special interests include diagnostic ultrasonography, endoscopy and avian medicine and surgery.
Dr. Weiner and his wife Ronna have 4 children: Marc, Eric, Lara and Scott. Other family members include Dolce, a Keeshond, Latte-the-Poodle, Elle a Shetland Sheepdog, three cats (Mitzvah, Mikey and Buttercup) and two birds (O'Malley the cockatiel and Morgan the Dusky conure).

Dr. Susan Rothstein
Dr. Rothstein is a 2003 graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK. Prior to veterinary school Dr. Rothstein obtained her Bachelors degree in Animal Science at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Rothstein lives locally with her husband, baby daughter and their Border Terrier, Joey.
Marsha
Marsha is the bookkeeper and office manager at County Animal Hospital. She is our computer administrator extraordinaire.
Donna
Donna joined our staff after many years in the business world. She is mother to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (Spencer) and is going to school to become a licensed veterinary technician.
Jodi
Jodi joined us after extensive experience with the Rockland Spay and Neuter Clinic. In addition to her duties at County Animal Hospital she is mother to four children as well as Gracie (a labradoodle) and George (a Soft coated Wheaten Terrier). Jodi is also going to school to become a licensed veterinary technician. Email: js77turtle@aol.com
Noelle
Noelle is a licensed veterinary technician. She graduated from SUNY Delhi and earned a bachelor's degree from Mercy College. Noelle worked at County Animal Hospital as an assistant since she was in high school. She has three dogs named Taina, Samson & Delilah and is the mother of Mariah, a very active toddler.
Tracy
Tracy is one of our animal health technicians. She has extensive experince as a supervisor at the Elmsford Animal Shelter. She is a mother of two children, cats Smootch and Xzodia, and Jason and Tullula (Oscars).
Andy
Andy handles receptionist duties. She and her Laborador retriever, Rudy, can be found greeting people and their pets at the front desk.
Barbara
Ellen F.
Ellen, a proud new grandma, has been handling the front desk for many years. Ellen has a wonderful dog, Kali. Email: efarmer@countyanimal.com
Ellen H.
Ellen is responsible for keeping County Animal Hospital clean and sparkling. She has two cats at home, MaMa and Olivia.
Eric
Eric, Dr. Weiner's son, has been helping out around the hospital since he was six. He is a student at Hofstra Univeristy and hopes to gain admission to veterinary school.
Janet
Janet is a long-time worker at County Animal Hospital, helping since 1986. Janet loves birds and her two pet Chihuahuas, Tootsie and Raven.
Kennel Students
Our students, Bethany, Lara, Josh and Chris, help care for the animals at County Animal Hospital during the afternoon and evening hours and weekends. Their extra love and care of the animals staying for hospitalization and boarding are an important part of our hospital.
